This stellar eatery is a 10-minute drive from Waikiki, in the up-and-coming culinary mecca
of Kaimuki. Light hardwoods, frosted glass, green marble, and black granite mix in a
leisurely fashion here, and there's almost always a full house in the 90-seat dining room
(with room for 20 on a street-side lanai outside). Homegrown ingredients are combined with
European flavors: Dungeness crab cakes are prepared in a nest of angel hair and served
with a ginger-cilantro aioli, and fettuccine is topped with assorted saut�ed shellfish
and grilled shiitake mushrooms. For dessert, try the warm chocolate souffl� cake with
